Why this matters here

Older Indian survey and revenue records sit on the Everest spheroid, not WGS 84. Treating one as the other puts everything a few hundred metres out — enough to move a plot boundary onto a neighbour.

Indian systems included

Kalianpur 1880, 1937 and 1975, the India zone grids, UTM zones 42N to 47N on both WGS 84 and Indian datums, and the WGS 84 state systems.

Bulk paste

Paste a column straight out of a spreadsheet. Anything after the first two values is carried through as a label, and the result downloads as CSV.

Nothing leaves your device

The arithmetic runs in your browser with proj4. No coordinate is transmitted, logged or stored anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats can I edit?

Anything the site reads: Shapefile, GeoJSON, KML, KMZ, GeoPackage, CSV, Excel, GPX, DXF and the rest. You can also download in a different format from the one you opened.

Are my edits saved anywhere?

No. They are held in the page only. Nothing is written until you download, and closing the tab discards everything — which is deliberate, since nothing about your file leaves the device.

Can I add or remove columns?

Yes, both. A new column is empty across every feature until you fill it in; deleting one removes it from every feature at once.

Can I edit the geometry?

Not here. This edits the attribute table only. Geometry editing is a different tool.
